Financial Executive Women (FEW) and Judith Beck have been shortlisted for the prestigious Women in Finance Awards, partnered by National Australia Bank.
An industry wide Female Leader and Advocacy Program covering financial services are in the running to take out one of Australia’s top industry awards.
We are proud to announce Judith Beck and FEW have been shortlisted as finalists to win their first awards in the Mentor of the Year and Community Program of the Year categories at the 2017 Women in Finance Awards.
Founded in 2013, FEW offers guidance, experience and support to women in the financial services community. Since its inception, FEW has retained and grown with some of Australia’s leading financial institutions as their corporate sponsors and FEW specialises in providing a unique Advocacy Program, assisting its Future Leaders and Senior Members on their career journeys.
Beck started her career in Australia’s financial services industry over 20 years ago. “Having mentored hundreds of people over the years through big or small issues, I’ve coached them through and I’ve enjoyed each win for them as though it were my own. I love giving back wherever I can and I will always have the time to do so”, Beck says.
In its inaugural year, the Women in Finance Awards, which covers 28 categories, recognises the outstanding work of women within financial services.
“This awards event is an Australian-first program that truly pulls together all areas of financial services under one umbrella to celebrate success and excellence,” said Momentum Media’s head of events, Jim Hall.
“We are set for a superb awards presentation. The judges have a tough job on their hands this year and there will no doubt be much excitement to hear their verdicts. The winners will not only represent inspirational high achievers from the financial sector, but also recognise the rising stars of tomorrow,” he added.
Judith Beck and the Team at FEW are honoured and humbled by the nominations. Judith and the Team’s recognition for their excellent contribution to the financial services community reinforces the strength of the brand in connecting with the community and engaging with its members.
The winners will be announced at a black-tie awards dinner on Thursday, 21 September at The Star, Sydney. We hope to see you there - register now.
