Craig Bingham
Director | Senior Financial Planner at Rising Tide
CFO at Bennelong Funds Management
Head Of Distribution at Bennelong Funds Management
CEO of Bennelong Funds Management
Matt is in his own words - "I've been with Rising Tide for over 13 years; it was my first job out of uni. Starting in admin, I moved into an advisory role over ten years ago & then became a Director in 2013. My staff are my number one clients; when they are going well, our clients have a great experience. I tend to be pretty blunt, but don't confuse that with a lack of empathy. In my role at Rising Tide now, my time is split between running the business, mentoring staff & working directly with clients. The best part of my world is my little boy Max, he isn't even one yet but makes every day amazing. My partner Annie does the brunt of the work with Max when I am at work, but I try to be pretty hands on the rest of the time.Being from Melbourne, I love sport & coffee too."

Jeff is Chief Financial Officer of Bennelong Funds Management and has over 20 years of experience in financial services. He joined Bennelong in June 2012 and is responsible for the finance, operations, company secretarial and IT functions. Jeff has many years' experience, both within Australia and internationally, in senior finance and operational roles. When asked the question - Where do you feel your strengths are in terms of being an Advocate to someone else? Jeff answered - "Ability to articulate a career in financial services and sound knowledge of a lot of different roles. I also have strong positive views on work/life balance, diversity and a non-hierarchical way of doing things. I can share my experience and networks depending on what is required including being a Director of a NFP. I note my experience is mainly weighted towards smaller businesses (50 staff or less) so as an Advocate I would be of more use to someone who prefers that environment versus much larger companies."
Jonas has 20 plus years experience in the industry. As Head of Distribution, Jonas is responsible for managing the national sales team and developing and implementing the sales strategy for both institutional and retail markets. The primary objectives of the role are to drive and generate sales revenue, service key clients, and drive business growth by positioning both existing and new investment offerings during various market conditions. With respect to his mentoring style, Jonas says "I would describe myself as personable and a positive person, I also like to get to the heart of a matter and have a discussion around practical ways to achieve a goal or resolve an issue."
Craig Bingham joined Bennelong Funds Management in October 2014 as CEO. He is a highly regarded financial services executive with extensive experience in Australian and international markets.

Since joining Bennelong, Craig has fast-tracked the company's growth, doubling the Australian-domiciled offering from four to eight boutique asset teams. In addition, Craig's entrepreneurial drive has led to the company's global expansion, establishing Bennelong's offshore arm BennBridge in the UK and US (the global collective is now known as the BFM Group). This has included partnering with a further four boutiques in the UK, with plans for future growth.

A strong advocate of creating an enviable corporate culture, Craig has ensured the global ethos is one of high performance, while retaining a focus on mutual respect, open communication and continuous curiosity.
