After 25 years of Executive Search within the Financial Services Industry, Managing Director Judith Beck has announced FRG will no longer be recruiting.

Beck said she and her team will instead be focusing all their energies on Financial Executive Women (FEW) and the positive progression of women.

FEW is now going into its fifth year and has grown substantially with some of Australia’s largest institutions as corporate sponsors. After a recent alliance with the Financial Planning Association and committing to a National Leadership Conference nationwide early next year, Beck said it is time to focus on what she is really passionate about, which is helping women get from A to B to achieve their goals.

Beck has placed hundreds of executives in positions within the industry and said she is proud to have helped people with their career aspirations.

Beck said, what she has learnt in FRG over the years is what led her to develop FEW. She wants to ensure that members have the right tools and guidance to get them where they want to go. No point complaining about what has or hasn’t happened, time to make sure we have the right structures, guidance and networks in place for women to progress up the ladder at the same rate as men, said Beck.

FRG will continue to consult directly to organisations on the best process to ensure equality for their workforce. Having a recruitment component to our business could be a conflict in the future even though FEW is a separate business so we are ending it now to avoid any concerns, Beck said. We want members and sponsors to feel comfortable about the relationship they have with us. Our goal is to ensure members get the best career from where they are now without the need to move jobs every three years.

Beck said she really enjoyed helping candidates achieve their dream jobs over the years, but really loves helping FEW’s members achieve their goals and help them become better leaders. In addition to making a difference in ensuring quality in the industry.

Beck said, Lena Coates who has been with FRG for over 20 years in executive search will also be moving into FEW as the National Corporate Sponsorship, Member Engagement Manager. Her substantial experience with FRG will be instrumental in providing valuable support, guidance and advice to members.
