Tizzy Vigilante, IRESS Managing Director of Wealth Management, has joined the Advisory Board of Financial Executive Women (FEW) to help the positive progression of women in financial services.

Entering its fifth year, FEW’s membership boasts some of the most esteemed senior executive women and future leaders. “They come from all sectors within financial services - banking, wealth management, superannuation, and insurance,” explained Judith Beck, Managing Director and Founder of FEW. “Our corporate sponsors are some of Australia’s most successful organisations, and are all committed to making sure their workforce is balanced.”

IRESS has been a supporter of FEW since its inception and formalised the relationship in 2017, becoming a corporate sponsor.  With over 20 of IRESS’ female leaders, across many disciplines of the business, being members of FEW, Tizzy believes, “the opportunity this community provides to network and develop, along with the delivery of high quality content, is invaluable.”

Tizzy states that “FEW delivers a variety of opportunities for its members to engage within the network; online forums, face-to-face meetings, conferences and mentoring programs. FEW have created a trustworthy community to give guidance and mentorship within the financial services community and I am thrilled to represent IRESS and play a role in fostering and growing this community.”

FEW is about providing the right structures and support systems, so women are able to progress equally to men. “Tizzy was invited to be on the FEW Advisory Board because of her experience and commitment to ensuring a balanced workforce where people progress based on their skill and not their gender” said Judith Beck. “We believe in appointing the best, but to get there you need the right support systems, and everyone needs to be on board. We welcome Tizzy’s contribution and are very fortunate to have her on our Advisory Board.”
